Stop guessing. Start going faster.

You're spending real money on track days. Don't leave the lap time in the data. Newtype Data gives you professional-level analysis — remotely, affordably, built specifically for drivers who don't have an engineer in their pit lane.

You do track days but don't have a data engineer

You've got a logger and raw data files sitting on your laptop after every event. We turn those into actionable insight.

You know you're leaving time on the table

You can feel it — a corner that's not quite right, braking too early, not carrying enough speed. The data knows exactly where.

You want to improve between events, not just during them

Submit your data after the day. Get your analysis back before the next one. Remote, async, on your schedule.

Professional analysis shouldn't need a professional budget

Factory teams have data engineers on retainer. You shouldn't need one to get the same quality of insight.

What You Get

Everything You
Need to Go
Faster

Every analysis is built around one question: where is your lap time? Here's how we answer it.

01
📊
Lap Time Breakdown
Your session analyzed corner by corner. We pinpoint exactly where you're gaining and losing time — not just which sector, but which specific point on track.
→ Know exactly where your lap time is hiding
02
🛑
Braking Analysis
Braking is where most track day drivers give up the most time. We map your brake points, trail-braking technique, and where earlier or later braking would help.
→ Find free lap time in your braking zones
03
🔁
Best Lap Overlay
We build a composite "best lap" from your session — combining your best sector from each part of the track — and overlay it against your actual laps to show the gap.
→ See how fast you already were, lap by lap
04
🌀
Throttle Trace Review
When and how hard you get back on the throttle out of corners is critical. We identify hesitation, premature throttle, and missed apex exits that cost you speed on the straights.
→ Build corner exit speed that carries all the way down
05
📝
Driver Report
A clear, jargon-free PDF report written for drivers — not engineers. Key findings, annotated charts, and a short priority list of what to work on at your next event.
→ Walk into your next track day with a plan
06
📈
Progress Tracking
Members build a session history over time. We track your improvement lap-to-lap and event-to-event — so you can see exactly how much faster you're getting and why.
→ Prove your improvement with data

100% Remote — No Travel Required

You don't need to be at the same track, the same weekend, or even the same country. Share your data files after your session, fill in a few notes, and we handle everything from there. Your analysis lands in your inbox before your next track day — so you arrive with a plan, not just hope.

The Process

How It
Works

Simple, fast, and built around your schedule — not ours.

01
Drive Your Session
Run your track day as normal. Your AiM Solo, TrackAddict or GoPro captures everything. The data is already there — you just need to export it.
Tip: name your sessions by track + date so we can orient quickly
02
Share Your Files
Submit the form below with a Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox link to your data. Tell us what you felt during the session — what was working, what wasn't, which corners felt sketchy.
Accepts: .drk · .xdrk · .csv · .vbo · .zip via cloud link
03
We Analyse Everything
We run your session through RaceStudio3 and custom Python pipelines — pulling apart your braking, throttle, speed traces, and lap delta. No rushing, no templates. Every report is written specifically for your data.
Turnaround: 24–48 hrs standard · within 24 hrs for members
04
Get Your Report
A clear PDF lands in your inbox. Annotated charts, plain-English explanations, and a short list of the two or three things to focus on at your next event. No jargon, no noise — just what will actually make you faster.
PDF report · annotated trace exports · priority action list
05
Go Back Faster
Arrive at your next track day knowing exactly what to work on. Members build a session history over time — turning every event into a data point in a longer improvement arc, not just a standalone day out.
Members: cumulative progress tracking across all sessions

In Person

Find Me
at the Track

The best way to understand what data analysis can do for your driving is to see it live — on your own session, at the track, right after you come off.

🏁
Paddock Sessions
I attend track days throughout the season with a full analysis setup. If you see me in the paddock, come over — I'll pull up your data on the spot and walk you through what it's showing. No pitch, no pressure. Just data.
💻
Live Walkthrough
Between sessions is the best time to review. We look at your traces while the feel of the lap is still fresh — braking points, throttle application, where the delta is building against your best lap. You leave knowing exactly what to try next session.
📡
Remote After the Day
Can't make it to a track day I'm attending? Submit your files after your session and get the same depth of analysis remotely. Everything I'd walk you through in person — delivered to your inbox before your next event.

FAQ

Common
Questions

Do I need a professional data logger?
No. We work with AiM Solo / Solo 2, TrackAddict, and GoPro GPS data — the same tools most track day drivers already have. If it captures GPS speed and position, we can work with it. You don't need a MoTeC or a full channel logger to get real insight.
How do I export my data?
AiM Solo: Connect via USB, open RaceStudio3, and export the session as a .drk file. TrackAddict: Tap the session, hit Share, export as CSV. GoPro: Use GoPro Telemetry Extractor (free tool) to pull the GPS data. If you're stuck, just submit the form and include a note — we'll figure it out together.
How long does analysis take?
Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours from when we receive your files. Driver members get priority 24-hour turnaround. If you have a track day coming up and need it faster, mention it in the session notes and we'll do our best.
Will I understand the report if I'm not technical?
Yes — that's the point. Reports are written in plain language for drivers, not engineers. Every chart is annotated, every finding is explained in terms of what to do differently on track, and the priority list at the end is kept to two or three concrete actions. You shouldn't need a data background to use it.
What if I only want one session analysed?
No problem — grab a single track day analysis for $25. No subscription, no commitment. It covers all your sessions from that day and is the easiest way to see what your data actually shows before deciding if ongoing analysis makes sense for you.
Do you need to be at the track with me?
No — everything is fully remote. Submit after your session, get your analysis back before the next one. That said, I do attend track days throughout the season — if you want a live in-person walkthrough, follow on social to see where I'll be next.
How do I share my data files?
Paste a Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox share link in the form. Google Drive: right-click your file → Share → "Anyone with the link" → Copy. OneDrive: right-click → Share → "Anyone with the link" → Copy. Dropbox: click Share → Copy link. This works for files of any size.
